About Us

Holly moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1987 and purchased this property from a high altitude gardener named Bill Tisher. Her vision was to transform it into a bed and breakfast where dogs were welcome to roam the grounds. The business plan flourished while Holly poured love into it. In 2001, she transferred ownership of the property to Nancy while continuing to live on site and greet guests. Over time, Holly began to step back and Nancy graciously embraced the business. Today her family and friends maintain her dream of "Holly's Place." Holly still resides in Lake Tahoe and occasionally visits the property with her dog, Picachu.
